We recognize the importance of project management and quality control. One roof is NOT as good as another, because a roof installation can only be as good as the installer and the products he uses. A good roof installation requires the use of durable products. Equally important, installers must exhibit attention to detail and concern for the longevity of the workmanship. We go out of our way to deliver these every day. Conformity to industry standards is a minimum – we aim to exceed safety, sustainability and common practice standards in every situation.

Staff & Wages

Hiring, training and retaining good employees has been a huge part of our success. Our crews are aware that they have direct influence on growth, efficiency and reputation. Retaining valued staff has everything to do with providing wages that reflect their value. Further, we strongly support hourly compensation because it encourages attention to detail, which is what we demand from our crew members. The alternative (piece rate compensation) tends to encourage shortcutting. Exceptions may exist, but it stands to reason that quality vs. quantity factors are at play here.

Guarantee

Most service providers and contractors are required to offer a workmanship warranty that covers the installation for at least one year. Because of our strict adherence to quality standards and because of the trust we place in our employees, we aren’t afraid to match the manufacturer’s material warranty period. If you purchase a 50-year roofing system warranty, we will stand by our workmanship for the same 50 years.

Meet the owner

My name is Jon Taylor. Born and raised here in Oregon, I took my first construction job in my senior year of high school and continued in residential building while getting a business degree from Corban University. Pursuing a higher education turned out to be a good decision. The dedication of time and energy required to run a business could be compared to being under the gun on the last day of finals week every day, but I wouldn’t trade it for a different occupation. The challenge is welcome. The process of re-roofing completely changes the home’s exterior. To me, the metamorphoses never gets old. Helping you to achieve your goals is also rewarding to me on a personal level. It really gives us a sense of accomplishment to know that we were able to completely fulfill your needs and get the job done as well as it could be.
